Second Collection For the Church in Africa This weekend 11/7 & 8, we take up the collection for the Solidarity Fund for the Church in Africa. This collection is an opportunity to stand with the people of Africa and support pastoral projects that this continent so needs.
The class "Thomas Merton: His Life, Spirituality and Social Consciousness" will be offered in January at Lexington Theological Seminary as part of the relaunched Master in Pastoral Studies in Roman Catholic Studies program. Deacon Bill Grimes, whose novice master was Thomas Merton, will teach the class, which can be audited by anyone. The deadline to apply is Dec. 1. The class will meet via Zoom from Jan. 15-17.
