Just like we plan ahead for a vacation or for retirement...we should invest in our spiritual life so that our relationship with God grows deeper year after year. If you put away fifteen dollars a week, then by the end of Spetember you will be in great shaper for the best investment Mary Queen has to offer. That's what Fr. Dan calls Adoration + Community + Theology + Service
This weekend is your last chance to order your Chicken Dinner for August 4th! There will be only a limited number of meals available at the door. Dessert donations are still being accepted. You can drop off the day before to the parish office, or the day of - after 2:30pm to the cafeteria.
This day is a Holy Day of Obligation. This gives our whole community the opportunity to join together, to thank God for the gift of eternal life as exemplified in Mary's being taken up into heaven, and to ask God's blessing upon our new school year. In an attempt to fit everyone's schedule at this busy time of year, we have many Masses for the Holy Day: the Vigil Mass at 4pm on Tuesday August 14, and the following Masses on August 15: 8:15am, 10:00 am with Mary Queen School, 6pm, and 7:30pm in the Spanish language.
