It all began with a vision from the ladies in CRHP 11. They had experienced a powerful retreat in 2016 that bonded them as sisters in Christ. They met regularly until COVID hit. Understanding the need to have more opportunities for prayer outside, they realized it would be a huge blessing for Mary Queen to have an outdoor Stations of the Cross. Peggy Mann and Jane Toms led the effort with the help of their sisters and Jim Cloud. They began the process almost a year ago. Ron McGohon installed the Stations and today, March 16, 2022, Fr. Dan blessed them.
The Stations are located on the pillars to the entrance of the church. The first station has a QR code that can be scanned for the Stations of the Cross prayers.
The CRHP 11 vision for an outdoor Stations of the Cross became a reality, and is a reminder to us on how the Lord can use us to bring to fruition His desires. As you pray the Stations of the Cross, keep in mind how the Lord is calling you to follow Him.
Thank you, to the CRHP 11 sisters, Jim Cloud and Ron McGohon for being on the team that made this happen! May all who pray the Stations of the Cross be greatly blessed.
