MARCH 19 UPDATE
EMERGENCY NEEDS Some of our friends hardest hit by job loss don't have access to some basic items.
Please find in your supply closet (or purchase, if you can, at your local store) the following items and bring them to Mary Queen now, and throughout these times of emergency, and put them inside the first set of doors at the main entrance of the church. We will see that they get distributed to those who really need them. Laundry detergent, Dishwashing liquid, Toilet paper, Bath soap, Disinfectant wipes, Hand soap, Paper towels, Shampoo, Bleach, and Toothpaste. Make monetary donations through https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/catholiccharitieslexington
EXPECT A CALL In our efforts to support you in these challenging times, Mary Queen parish staff, Parish Council members and other volunteer parishioners will be calling you to see how you are doing. The calls will begin tomorrow or Saturday. If we can help you in any way, kindly let the callers know and we will do our best to help.
JOIN THE POPE IN THE ROSARY AT 4PM TODAY Pope Francis invites everyone to join with him in oraying the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary today at 4pm our time (9pm Rome time), on the Feast of Saint Joseph. Mary, Mother of God, and Health of the Sick, to whom we direct the Rosary, under the loving gaze of St. Joseph, Protector of the Holy Family and our families, brings us to the luminous and transfigured Face of Christ and his Heart. We ask that he especially protect our families, in particular the sick and those who care for them: doctors, nurses, and volunteers, who risk their lives in this service.
