Father Andy Garner To Lead Spanish Diaconate Formation Program, Father Albert DeGiacomo Appointed Parochial Vicar at Cathedral

LEXINGTON — Father Andy Garner, pastor of Holy Family in Ashland, has agreed to lead the Spanish Diaconate Formation program for the Catholic Diocese of Lexington.

“We hope to begin the program very soon, and Father Andy's willingness to lead will make this possible,” said Bishop John Stowe, OFM Conv. of Lexington in making the appointment.

On Sept. 1, Father Albert DeGiacomo, retired priest of the diocese, will become a parochial vicar of the Cathedral of Christ the King in Lexington. The bishop announced both appointments on Aug. 24.
