I am very excited to be joining the faith formation team at Mary Queen! My wife, Erin, and I were parishioners at Mary Queen from 2015-2019 when we moved over to the Cathedral of Christ the King. We are excited to return and to reconnect with the people of Mary Queen as I settle into this new position.
I come to Mary Queen with an educational background in Spanish and Religion from Berea College and the University of KY. From there, I was blessed to spend the last 7 years with Christ the King school as the K-8 Spanish teacher. Incorporating my faith into my instruction has always been important to me and I am sure my experience in the classroom will benefit me as I seek to serve the parish of Mary Queen.
Erin and I have four children: John Paul (7), Siena (5), Beth Ann (3), and Ignatius (6 mos). My wife and I are both converts to the Catholic faith from Baptist and nondenominational backgrounds. Since being accepted into the church in 2014, we have found so much joy in sharing our new found Catholic faith with all of the fervor that our religious backgrounds instilled in us. I am looking forward to working with the parish's religious formation team as we seek ways to live as intentional disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ!
