www.dailytmass.com (English) & Lecturas de la Misa (Spanish)
For Sunday Masses English & Spanish The Diocese of Lexington will live stream mass on Sundays via their Facebook page.https://www.facebook.com/ctklexky/
How should Catholics respond to the Coronavirus?
Prayer! Providentially, we are in the Lenten season – a time for prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. God is giving us this time to journey with Jesus on his way to the Cross. Reach out to your neighbor and show Christ's love for them by sharing your concern for them and asking if they need anything. Support your parish with donating supplies, money, or making phone calls.

What can my family and I do at home if we’re not attending Mass?
It has long been a Catholic understanding that when circumstances prevent one from receiving Holy Communion, it is possible to make an Act of Spiritual Communion, which is a great source of grace. Spiritual Communion means uniting one’s self in prayer with Christ’s sacrifice and worshipping him in his Body and Blood.
You can access the prayer here: Act of Spiritual Communion Prayer
In addition, all are encouraged to pray the Rosary, seeking the intercession of Our Blessed Mother for her counsel, consolation, protection and for an end to this virus. You are strongly encouraged to watch mass on the internet each Sunday.
How do Church closures affect the Sacrament of Reconciliation during Lent?
Make an appointment by calling: 502-471-6241, 859-285-5210 or 859-983-2643.
How about the Anointing of the Sick, especially those in hospitals? Who should I call?
If you or a loved one is sick, or near death, you should call the priests as Bishop Stowe has asked priests to be generous with their time and prudent with their actions. Our priests must follow the guidance of health care facilities, some of which may only allow their own chaplains to minister to those with COVID-19 since they receive intensive training regarding safety protocols.
What if a loved one dies? Can I still have a funeral Mass? And what about Weddings?
As recommended on March 16, 2020, by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), public gatherings should be limited to 10 or fewer people for the next 15 days. To ensure that we are in alignment with these guidelines, attendance at weddings and funerals must be limited to no more than 10 people until further notice.
Funerals may proceed as scheduled but, as strongly recommended by government officials and healthcare experts, may not exceed 10 people in the church so those mourning can maintain “social distancing.” If this proves to be impossible or unduly difficult to ensure, funerals and weddings should be postponed until a later date.
My child is scheduled to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Will that still occur?
Mary Queen's Confirmation is still scheduled for May 1. If this changes, you will be notified and the date will be postponed until we are allowed to gather for Mass again.
My child was scheduled to be baptized during this time, now what?
Baptisms may proceed during this time, but outside of the Mass setting. As with funerals and weddings, attendance at baptisms should not exceed 10 people gathered until further notice. Fresh water will be blessed and used when the Sacrament is celebrated.
What about First Communions?
Mary Queen's First Communions are scheduled for May 9-10 and 16-17. At this point, we are hopeful these joyful First Eucharist celebrations will still occur.
