This past September we restarted our Sunday evening Mass as a youth and young adult focused Mass.  The intention was to try this for the academic year and see how it went.  After a year of ministry we have decided to keep the 5pm Mass, but no longer intentionally focus on youth and young adults, because this Mass time is primarily meeting the needs of people of all ages who cannot make our other Mass times.  This Mass will continue to have more contemporary music led by our praise band.  

To continue this Mass we need more liturgical ministers, especially facilitators and ushers (all other ministries have needs as well).  We are offering some training this Sunday to increase our number of volunteers for the 5pm Mass and all Masses, so please come to the trainings included here.

We do not consider this change as a sign that we are not forgoing our commitment to minister to and with youth and young adults.  We will be working to specifically increase the formation and involvement of our young people as liturgical ministries at all of our Masses.
